Bridalveil Fall (620 feet)
Flows: all year, with peak flow in May.

This is often the first waterfall visitors see when entering Yosemite Valley. In spring, it thunders; during the rest of the year, look for its characteristic light, swaying flow.


This shot was taken November 18,2013 the day after the Government reopened the National Parks. Delighted that our vacation plans were kept intact and in awe at the beauty of this National wonder. We turned the bind in the road and arrived at Bridal Falls to this spectacular sight of a rainbow shimmering against the rocks.

Most of her photographs are taken in her home area of Northern California where there is a vast array of natural wonders to behold.
